This tape offers a low coefficient of friction which, in combination with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive, provides a smooth surface on a variety of substrates for general and non-stick applications that require high temperature performance.
The shaved backing offers good conformability when unrolled from the roll compared to typical extruded PTFE film tapes. It works as a non-stick or quick-release medium between surfaces where pressure, temperature changes and other factors can create a measure of adhesion.
