The tape has a very good conformability, it resists flames, humidity, atmospheric agents, UV degradation and many chemicals used in galvanizing and anodizing processes

It is backed with a rubber adhesive which bonds to various surfaces, including most types of metals 

The tape has good thermal properties and will perform over a wide variety of temperature conditions. It can be die-cut into specific shapes.

The 3M Lead Foil Tape is conductive, both for electricity and heat and it is very resistant to acids, which is why is ideal for galvanizing processes or to be used as a barrier against radiations.

It has a lead foil covered by a green rubber adhesive, giving a good and longlasting bond. The removal from the majority of surfaces is clean. 

The lead foil can be burnished to completely cover the adhesive, allowing the contact with the metallic base. This contact makes the electricity continue its way, reducing its accumulation on the surface.

Thanks to its density, weight and malleability, the 3M Lead Foil tape is a great choice for weighting and balance, for exhample particularly for golf clubs.
