3M 5453 Glass Cloth Tape has a brown woven glass cloth backing impregnated with PTFE. This tape provides a slick surface on process machinery and offers an extremely low coefficient of friction which, in combination with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive, creates a non-stick surface that performs at elevated temperatures.

It functions as a longer-lasting, anti-stick or easy-release medium between surfaces where pressure, temperature changes and other factors may create a measure of adhesion.

3M 5453 is chemical resistant and can be used as a temporary chemical barrier, temperature range from -73°C to 260°C.

3M 5480 PTFE Film Tape uses a skived, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), conformable film backing. This tape offers an extremely low coefficient of friction and excellent chemical resistance.
