3M 5421 UHMW PE Film Tape 610mm x 16.5m thickness 0.17mm

3M 5421 UHMW PE Film Tape is often used in general industrial applications to help control squeaks and rattles due to vibration or wear of metal and plastic materials. It protects surfaces from abrasion, providing good chemical resistance and excellent abrasion resistance that helps ensure a long wear life.

It is ideal for applications requiring a low coefficient of friction and the movement of parts and/or materials.

This is a thinner version of 3M UHMW-PE Film Tape 5423.

3M 5421 has a translucent, abrasion resistant backing that helps protect surfaces from wear, low coefficient of friction for ‘slip plane’ effect between surfaces.

The rubber adhesive provides good initial tack for immediate bonding to material surface.

The tape is mounted on a liner, making it easy to die-cut to meet the demands of specific applications. It is ideal for applications requiring a low coefficient of friction and the movement of parts and/or materials, and in applications where lubrication is not possible because of contamination.
