3M™ VHB™ 4959F is an acrylic double-sided adhesive tape with excellent long-term adhesion capability. Colour: white, thickness: 3,00 mm, suitable for high surface energy substrates. It adheres to substrates with high surface energy, including aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, numerous composites and plastics, acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS, and painted or sealed wood. The particularity is in the thickness 3 mm which make it almost unique among the acrylic double-sided adhesive and with its technical characteristics of 3M™ VHB™.

3M™ VHB™ 4959F is a 3.0 mm thick, white, pressure sensitive, double-sided closed-cell acrylic foam adhesive tape. It adheres to numerous substrates with high surface energy. It can replace mechanical fixing systems (rivets, welds, screws) and liquid adhesives, eliminating the need to drill, smooth, refine, screw, weld and clean in processes. The ability to absorb stress reduces vibration and shock stress . Creates permanent insulation from water, humidity and other agents. Allows you to use thinner and lighter materials and different materials.

Applications:

Junction of transparent materials, mounting of backlit translucent signs.

Bond glass barriers with resin filler and general bonding of glass, as well as of metals and substrates with high surface energy, cut parts and decorative materials, plates and logos, frame panels and reinforcements on panel.
