3M VHB 4905 is part of the 4910 family of 3M VHB Tapes. It uses a universal adhesive and is typically used in applications where transparent materials are joined or where a clear or colorless tape is preferred. It is specifically designed to provide good adhesion to metals, glass and plastics such as polycarbonate and acrylic. Recommended applications: transparent material joining, backlit translucent sign mounting, edge bonding of resin-impregnated glass and general glass bonding, as well as metals and high surface energy substrates, cut parts and decorative materials, nameplates and logos, panel to frame and panel reinforcement.
