3M™ VHB™ Extrudable Tape GP is suitable for automated bonding, a faster, simplified and more sustainable technology for manufacturing processes.

The tape with pressure-sensitive adhesive immediate handling strength, can be applied in variable widths and thicknesses and even around corners. The hot bond line can be closed immediately with a second substrate, or a liner can be applied and the second substrate can be bonded to the cooled tape later.

Excellent adhesion to many substrates, such as: metals, glass, rubber, LSE plastics, woven and woven-nonwoven fabrics, and difficult-to-bond materials sometimes even without the need to prepare the surface for bonding, it can also provide sealing for water and air.

An elastic release function allows the tape to be removed cleanly from a part by pulling it parallel to the surface so that the part can be reworked with minimal waste.
