3M™ VHB™ 5952 Double-sided adhesive tape, high-strength, highly conformable acrylic foam, for powder coating. Anthracite black, 1.1 mm thick. Thermal resistance up to 149 ºC for short periods.

3M™ 5952 is a 1.1 mm black double-sided adhesive tape with modified acrylic adhesive and a conformable core in acrylic foam that bonds to a wide range of substrates, including most powder coatings and uneven surfaces. 

Thanks to its viscoelastic properties, it offers design flexibility and a great ability to bond various surfaces, including most powder-coated surfaces. It allows to bond medium/low, medium and high surface energy substrates. Offers ease of use, padding, vibration and impact resistance.

Suggested applications:

Applications with highly uneven surfaces, decorative materials, plates and logos, electronic signs, frame panels and panel reinforcements in various industries, including transport, electronics, construction, signage and general industrial applications.
