The 3M JM 3779 JM 2 is a thermal fuse adhesive with excellent electrical characteristics. This hot melt glue is used as an encapsulant for potting connectors, individual elements on electronic boards and for global sealing of electrical-electronic devices. It has very high thermal resistance and meets UL-94 V-O. Good resistance to oils and fuels. The product before application is sensitive to moisture.
3M 3779 hot melt adhesive is formulated for electronic, has self-extinguishing qualities and a temperature resistance, up to 149 ºC - designed for encapsulation and sealing.
The 3M JM 3779 JM 2 diameter 255 mm x 76 mm (1" x 3") is recommended for: electronics, thanks to its strong electrical insulation properties and thermal coating resistance. High temperature resistant bonding. Self-extinguishing UL94V0 certified.
