3M™ 425 is a dead soft aluminum tape (1145-0) paired with a special clear acrylic adhesive, with a total thickness of 0.13 mm

It is ideal for various applications, such us masking, sealing, repairing, heat shielding, chemical pickling-blasting. It is also used for galavazing operations and wiring, junction, electroplating, plastic protection, chemical milling, heat shielding, heat reflection and paint stripping works.

The tape is thermally conductive, helping to improve the efficiency of heating and cooling to protect sensitive to temperature variations materials 

It resists chemicals, allowing the protection of surfaces during paint stripping and chemical milling operations
