3M 5491 PTFE Film Tape uses an extruded polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film backing. This tape offers an extremely low coefficient of friction which, in combination with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive, creates a smooth, non-stick surface over a variety of substrates to assist in the movement of materials in many types of lay-flat applications.

Thicker version of the 3M 5490

The silicone adhesive ensures clean removal from most surfaces; the non-stick coating of PTFE creates an extraordinarily smooth surface for easy cleaning.

3M 5491 offers an extremely low coefficient of friction that, in combination with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive, creates a uniform, non-stick surface on a wide range of substrates to help the movement of materials in many types of flat applications.
