3M 8902 Polyester Tape offers excellent thermal, abrasion and chemical resistance while maintaining flexibility.

Clean removal during high-temperature masking operations such as powder coating, 3M 8902 works in demanding conditions and high temperatures ranging from -50ºC to 204ºC.

Coated with a silicone adhesive, this tape bonds to a variety of difficult surfaces. It is chemical resistant and performs under a wide range of temperatures and environments.

8902 can be used in applications requiring high temperatures or adhesion to silicone treated surfaces. It’s made with a strong, blue polyester backing and a silicone adhesive for strength, durability and long service life.
