Recommended liquid adhesion promoter for the application of 3M acrylic double-sided adhesives on Automotive polyolefin surfaces (PE, PP, Blends).
Technicians simply tear the top of the package to expose the wipe and, using the bottom of the package as an applicator, apply the liquid to the component of the car. Each wipe contains 2.5 cc of adhesion promoter, which is sufficient to cover up to 3810 square mm. The adhesion promoter can also be cleaned from most surfaces using MEK or acetone solvents.
3M™ 06396 adhesion promoter is specially designed to be used with 3M™ acrylic foam tapes and 3M™ Plus acrylic tapes for automotive applications.
