3M DP490 Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 400 ml

3M DP490 duo-pack epoxy structural adhesive in carbon fiber for metals and composites, black in color, 400 ml cartridge. 

• High peel and shear strength for strong bonds in critical applications
• Tough, high strength adhesive 
• Non-sag properties are ideal for vertical surfaces and composite bonding
• Excellent environmental and heat resistance up to temperatures of 120 °C
• Easy mixing and dispensing, with 2:1 mix ratio
• Open time 90 minutes, handling time about 4-6 hours

The 3M DP490 is thixotropic, gap filling, it is designed for use where ultimate toughness and high strength are required. It is non-sag for easy application to vertical surfaces, has a high peel and shear strength for strong bonds in critical applications.

High temperature resistance up to 120°C and also high resistance to impact.

It is reccomended when toughness and high strength are needed, for metals, carbon fiber, fiberglass.

It is similar to 3M DP410 but with a higher temperature resistance.

To be used with its 3M  pneumatic Manual Applicator and its compatible mixing nozzle.
