Hot glue / Hot melt adhesives

Hot-melt or hot-melt adhesive is a thermoplastic material that is solid at room temperature but, when applied at high temperature, melts and is liquid. At this very moment, it manages to adhere to a surface.

The main advantages of hot-melt compared to other adhesives can be summarized in the following points:

  • In solid state, ease of use, storage and transport.
  • Instant bond strength, with no drying or hardening times.
  • Fixing of the union without waiting times. High viscosity level compared to other adhesives, which allows use on porous and non-porous surfaces.
  • High yield, higher production speed. High bonding performance. Mechanical resistance, tolerance to chemical aggression, extreme temperatures, etc.
  • Reusable in most cases.
