3M™ VHB™ 5962F double-sided adhesive tape made of high-strength, highly conformable acrylic foam, for powder coating. Color: black anthracite. Thickness: 1.55 mm. Liner: plastic film. Thermal resistance up to 149 ºC for short periods. 

3M™ VHB™ 5962F is a black double-sided adhesive tape in modified acrylic adhesive, 1.55 mm thick, with a particularly conformable core made of acrylic foam. It bonds a wide range of substrates, including most powder coatings and uneven surfaces. 

Thanks to its viscoelastic properties, it offers design flexibility and a great ability to attach to various surfaces, including most powder-coated surfaces. It allows to bond medium/low, medium and high surface energy substrates. It offers ease of use, padding, vibration and impact resistance.

3M VHB 5925, 5952 and 5962 products are particularly suitable for low energy surfaces such as: most powder-coated surfaces, many plastics and also for high-energy surfaces and glasses . Primer or previous roughening of the surface is not required.
