3M™ 1280 Circuit Plating Tape polyester tape, Red, 1219 mm x 66 m x 0,091 mm
Polyester film with silicone adhesive. Used to protect printed circuit boards during electroplating operations.
The polyester film with reduced elasticity is ideal for both machine and manual applications
Solvent clean up of the board is recommended to facilitate subsequent soldering
Polyester backing reduces stretch and recovery of tape and associated uneven stop-off line. Thick adhesive coating reduces undercutting because adhesive helps block out solutions between fingers. Polyethylene tape core instead of cardboard.
