3M™ 583 Thermal Bonding Film it’s a nitrile phenolic based thermosetting adhesive film that can be heat or solvent activated, or lightly crosslinked using a post heat exposure. It provides a strong, permanent bond to a variety of surfaces.  This product must be stored at temperature not lower than 4 ºC (40 ºF).

3M™ 583 Thermal Bonding Film it’s a nitrile phenolic based thermosetting adhesive film that can be heat or solvent activated, or lightly crosslinked using a post heat exposure. It provides a strong, permanent bond to a variety of surfaces.  This product must be stored at temperature not lower than 4 ºC (40 ºF).

If crosslinked the product will provide additional heat and solvent resistance as well as slightly higher cutting forces.

3M™ 583  is ideal for low temperature bonding applications, such as bonding flex antenna and metal face plates to a chassis, or splicing glass fabric in PCB board manufacturing. It can be die-cut and gives a slight surface tack. It works highly effectively on a variety of substrates.
