Premium glass cloth reinforced backing provides greater tensile strength and resistance to tears and punctures than typical PTFE film backed tapes, the silicone adhesive offers high temperature performance and long aging.

3M 5451 performs in humid environments due to its very low moisture absorption. It has a thick PTFE coating for an exceptionally smooth non-stick, low-friction surface. The reinforced, woven cloth fabric base has increased tensile strength, enabling it to resist wear, tears and punctures. It’s flexible and conformable, able to wrap around rolling surfaces and in spiral patterns.
