3M 5401 Traction Tape is a single coated, glass cloth with reinforced fibreglass.

Silicone adhesive provides long aging, good holding power, for a wide range of operations. Non-stick material allows rollers to be used for multiple applications, eliminating down-time during manufacturing processes.

3M 5401 Traction Tape provides a high coefficient of friction on web rollers. This creates constant traction and tension for web material from start-up through wind-up, while simultaneously providing a non-stick, premium release surface.

It has silicone adhesive that has great holding power, lasts a long time, and removes cleanly and easily, leaving minimal residue for a quick cleaning process.
