3M DP410 Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive, cartdrige 50 ml
3M™ DP410 high-performance structural epoxy adhesive for metals and composites.
Supplied in a 50 ml cartridge with a 2:1 mix ratio and a beige color, it features a very short 10-minute working time, ideal for rapid, decisive applications.
Sharing the same characteristics but offering a much longer working life (approximately 60 minutes) is the 3M™ DP460.
Use with the dedicated green 3M mixing nozzle sold separately.

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP410 – fast-bonding structural epoxy adhesive.
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP410 is a beige, two-part structural epoxy adhesive developed for industrial applications requiring high strength, toughness, and rapid strength build-up. Its epoxy formulation is also suitable for assemblies subject to vibration, impact, and mechanical stress.
It features a 2:1 mix ratio, and its self-leveling formulation facilitates application and adhesive placement.
Recommended for:
- Structural metal assemblies, such as stainless steel and aluminum
- Bonding composite materials, such as carbon fiber
- Fast, strong bonding in general industry, transportation, and many other sectors.
3M™ DP410 vs. 3M™ DP460: which one to choose?
3M™ DP410 is the right choice when a strong, durable structural bond is required, but you also need an adhesive that builds strength quickly to reduce production cycle times.
In practice: 3M™ DP410 is recommended when the priority is a strong structural bond with rapid strength development, whereas 3M™ DP460 is preferred when the process requires more time for component alignment and positioning.
It is ideal when you need:
- high bond strength
- good toughness
- resistance to vibration and impact
- rapid strength development
- good environmental resistance
Technical features and benefits for industrial applications
High strength and toughness
DP410 epoxy adhesive is designed to combine structural strength and toughness, making it suitable for assemblies subjected to mechanical stress.
Vibration and impact resistance
3M classifies DP410 as a structural adhesive suitable for applications requiring resistance to vibration and impact.
This makes it particularly attractive for:
- mechanical components
- industrial assemblies
- equipment
- transportation
- components subject to vibration
Rapid room-temperature curing
DP410 is designed to cure quickly at room temperature; the process can be further accelerated by applying moderate heat.
This can help to:
- reduce assembly times
- increase productivity
- speed up component handling
- reduce production wait times
2:1 mix ratio
The 2:1 volume ratio simplifies the dispensing of the two components using the appropriate dispensing system.
Good environmental resistance
DP410 offers good resistance to environmental conditions and is designed for industrial applications where bond durability is important.
- High structural strength for mechanical and load-bearing joints
- Excellent impact and fatigue resistance
- Excellent chemical and environmental resistance
- Reliable adhesion to metals and composite materials
The product is particularly attractive when assembly speed is important and there is a need to avoid long wait times before handling the component.
